My present arrived yesterday and I wasn't sure if it was SS or not so She who hesitates is lost they say, so without further ado I opened the box...
It's a beautiful la Cocina platter and matching tea towel. The platter is a very versatile shape and I can see that it will be used many many times on our table. I'm going to try and get other people to use the tea towel more than me tho ;)

Finally caved in...! Thank you so much to my SS in WA!!
A beautiful red/white striped Enjo kitchen towel; a lovely (extremely useful!) mini colander; a pkt of Lindt (favourites!); ice cube tray (mini star shapes ideal for drinks!) and some really wow factor flavours from tastebom.com: strawberry powder, passionfruit powder,pineapple powder, porcini powder with black truffle, licorice root extract, sweet orange oil, and peppermint oil!!

I opened one of my presents today. I had a gruelling day at the course I'm undertaking and wanted a pick-me-up.
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, SS - what a lovely treat, from Selfridges, the most gorgeous ornament. It will make up part of my table centre piece and I will treasure it always. :-*

I received the Complete Middle Eastern Cookbook by Tess Mallos which has a beautiful fabric cover. My SS must have done his/her research because middle eastern is my favourite cuisine and this is one of the legendary cookbooks! 😀😀😀
There are 550 odd pages and often 2 recipes to a page - I might be offline a while as I'm going to be absorbed in this book and the huge amount of recipes!

Seeing it's the 1st today I decided to open my presents from my not so SS :)

SS, you are very clever, your work is gorgeous and it was lovely to meet you in Adelaide ;D. And yes I certainly will enjoy using my unique potholders and glasses case. Love the colours. I couldn't wait any longer and opened my second gift from SS. :)
A gorgeous enjo tea towel in my favourite colour (red and it is so soft before washing) - Some Clarins products (hand cream, day and night cream) such a treat.
Pretty paper hankies which are way too nice to be wiping my nose with. ;D
Thankyou SS :-* I still have a gift to open which I will leave until Christmas Eve. I have been thoroughly spoilt.
When I have opened everything I will post a photo of all the gifts.

I used it to buy a large bottle of the Replenish hand and body lotion, and a tube of Vanilla Lip Balm, which is just luscious

I finally succumbed and opened my present too. I received a lovely big bread bag which I know will get lots of use, and a cookbook of celebratory recipes from Australian kitchens. Looking forward to having a thorough read of that when I have a bit more time.

I have a very naughty SS. Just came home from visiting Geoff and there at the front door was part 2 of their gift. Not only another gift for me but one for Geoff as well. You are too kind SS, I feel as if I should know you very well but cannot for the life of me put a name on my gift yet. I feel as if one of the gifts today should give me a hint but it's still not coming to me without doing a bit of reading on here.
Here's our gifts, unopened then mine opened. I'll take Geoff's in to him tomorrow for him to open himself.
The booklet All Bread Kneads is by tickofyum's Bee & John Keough, we all know that website. As you may recall, my SS has already given me 2 banneton bowls for bread proofing so the booklet is a nice accompaniment to that. I also have some vanilla powder, now who was in on that conversation a while back ??? as well as a muslin cloth from Herbies.
What can I say except a big thank you and hug to my lovely SS, you are too kind.
Update - Geoff opened his parcel, it was a brag book which is pretty handy seeing as he recently became a great-grand-father. He said to pass on his thanks to my SS.

While in Ballarat, Ral picked up a very large parcel from the PO. As he knew I wouldn't be home in time. This was an absolute surprise and Avery generous gesture.

I've just opened my last present. I should have opened it earlier as I could have been using it. A lovely Ashdene Christmas bowl.

Thank you SS! I really LOOOOVE my gifts and I'm very sorry for not posting yesterday however our family didn't leave until 11pm!
The cutter/scraper is excellent as was great to use when smoothing the cream on the top of the pavlova! The beautiful knitting is too good to use! So thoughtful and special to include a handmade gift :) The cupcake corer will be great and I am imagining some lemon curd or jam being put into some of my upcoming cupcakes :) The cake tester is exactly what I need! and the spatula is just a perfect size! I love the coaster and the British cupcake pans...I suspect they are a clue as to the location of my SS?!?
