Title: Recipe Review - Leek Quiche - A Taste of Vegetarian p.71
Post by: Swanscook on October 13, 2013, 03:06:49 am
I made this last night. I don't usually write reviews but read other people's all the time so thought I should return the favours.

This recipe takes ages to prepare. The pastry wouldn't press into the dish so I had to roll it.

The filling is quite sloppy and didn't set much.

Finally the taste was quite awful. The onions and leeks tasted too raw and the overall combination of ingredients just didn't work.
However the pastry was fairly tasty.

Overall I would not recommend this recipe - too much effort for too little result.  >:(

Thanks Swanscook, this is exactly why we need people to review recipes.
