Is it possible?
I am a newbie to this lol
-
Sure . I put my potatoes in the basket always. When they are done I put then in the bowl and add butter and whatever. The veggies are ok for a few minutes in the Varoma
-
So even when I am steaming with milk?
-
Water .....milk.... What is the difference. Still steam.

And if Im cooking other veggies and chicken on top - make sure I hit the Varoma button?

You have to use Varoma temperature for steaming the vegies and chicken Melissa. I would use water in the bowl, vegies in the basket, chicken fillets in the varoma bowl and some vegies on the tray which don't need as much cooking (add them a bit later even). You can then put the potatoes back in the bowl and mash. I've never cooked potatoes in milk and steamed anything above on varoma but someone may have.
Have you seen Baf's chicken and veg (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=5526.0) meal? Check it out, it's a good basic meat and veg meal.
