Title: Hi from Devon UK
Post by: Janviv on September 13, 2013, 10:17:56 pm
Hello to all, I've had a TMX21 for about 9 years, luckily I have had a very reliable machine.  I have just found this forum & I'm finding it exciting to have all the recipes & expertise at my fingertips. :)

Hi Janviv, welcome to the forum.  9 years is a long time but the machine is built to last so you are sure to have many more wonderful years yet.  Did you buy your TM21 in the UK.  How are you getting on using TM31 recipes for your TM21, do you have access to many recipes for your model other than the book that came with the machine?

This (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4649.0) link notes some differences in case you are unaware of the comparison between the two. If you type TM21 into the search box on the Home Page, a few links to various discussions and recipes will come up.

Hi Janviv and welcome to the forum.  It's nice to hear about people who are using their TM's many years after purchasing them.  I know someone who has had her's for 25 years and it's still going strong.  You will find lots of great recipes, tips ect on here which hopefully will be helpful to you.  Looking forward to hearing more about what you make ect.

Thank you for your warm welcome,  I am not the most inventive of cooks, but my ideas with left overs are usually pretty good, but I do try to use my thermomix for most jobs.  My best efforts have been cakes & savoury sauces, chillies, bolognese etc & probably most soups that you can name as it makes such light work of preparation.   I found this forum while searching for the UK Thermomix address as I needed a new butterfly whisk, my original had finally given up after being super glued many times.  I have now filled my poor tablet full of links to new recipes.  I've noticed only 2 major differences between theTM21 & 31 they are reverse & the temperature range. I don't think it will be a problem.  Anyway thank you again & a special hello to all in Perth WA, I love that city,   8)
