Title: Review: Banana, Hazelnut and Honey Bread - Baby and Toddler Cookbook
Post by: Tasty on August 06, 2013, 06:16:07 am
I finally got around to making my first recipe from this book on the weekend. I have to say this bread is delicious - it has such a lovely texture to it and I keep going back for more. Unfortunately my toddler who can be fussy at times wasn't interested in this at the time.

I would recommend making it and I believe the banana measurements are with the skin on.

Here is a photo - It's a dark coloured bread and I didn't take a photo of the inside before freezing most of this in slices.

Made this today ... oh my it is yummy. Though I found it too sweet for my liking but that is just me. I will be making it again for sure. Wish I had read that the banana measurements were with the skin on ... wonder if that also contributed to the sweetness  ??? ???

Definitely lovely bread. Here is a photo of the inside as well from the second time I made it:

This is yummy. I measured the banana with the skin off (it was about 4 bananas) with no problem. I didn't use nuts as it is intended for daycare (if it lasts that long). I've frozen it in slices ready to pop in the lunch box :)
