Thanks GF, was just reading about that myself ;D
-
I do wish these wonderful people would cease and desist, though, Judy!! ;D ;D ;D Trying so hard not to look at any more cook books!! . . . but this one !! :-)) Love the original Quick Fix and also have her Lo Carb from the mini series . . .and will be getting this one for sure . . ;D
-
I'm about to take peek. Wasn't overly impressed with the low carb book.
-
I didn't buy the low carb book. It looks like August may need to be saved up for. I think Tenina's comes out round then too.
-
Of course I'm going to buy it - maybe both formats. Then I'll buy Tenina's when it comes out ;D
-
I'm with you Cream Puff, I just can't help myself ;D
-
I just bought it :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :D :D :D :D
-
Hrmmm more cookbooks... I have so many lol
-
I just don't seem to cook much from cookbooks anymore. I have her Quick Fix and haven't cooked anything from it :( I might look at the ebook version but would have to be significantly cheaper for me to get it.
-
I don't use many cookbooks either.
-
I'll be buying it.
-
Um, I bought the book as soon as I read the email :P A lot of recipes sounded lovely, so what's another book?.....think I've said that before ;D
-
Mmm probably will buy, dh just organised a revolving bookcase for my cookbooks, $1800, so I am tryi g to be good :)
-
I figured if I bought Alyce's now I could justify Tenina's when it comes out :D :D :D :D
-
I have just ordered this book.
I use QFTM all the time.
It is a well written and organized book which is easy to use with really good everyday recipes.
I am looking forward to trying this new cookbook.
Roll on August!

Hally that sounds like a great idea :)
I have heaps of cookbooks.. Usually look at several different recipes for the same dish then make my own version... I love seeing what inspirational recipes ppl have come up with and love looking and buying cookbooks.. Rarely cook the same thing.. Always looking for something different...
-
I love her cookbooks so I'll definitely be saving up for this one...it might have to wait until Christmas :-\
-
Yes frozzie, its being built to fit in a corner of our living room & its going to be about 2.4m tall.
I cant wait, dh got sick of the piles on the floor ;D
-
I bought it too. ;D
Love the idea of your book case Hally, now you HAVE to buy books to fill it!

I'm sure Hally will have no trouble filling it ;D

In iBook format? Why yes please.
Hopefully Tenina's book too.
-
Is the iBook format cheaper than the book?
$60 is expensive.
Just went onto iBooks and its $23.99
-
A lot cheaper MF, which version are you thinking of getting? iBooks are not my favourite recipe books regardless of the price.
-
Haven't decided yet Judy ???
I have numerous cookbooks on my iPad kindle and find them easy to use with the iPad on its stand as I can use my fingers to enlarge the font size which makes it easy to read while cooking.
I do enjoy proper books but storage is the problem.

Same Judy....that's probably the only old fashioned thing about me :)
-
It will be €18,99 here (low carb book is €8,49) which is much more reasonable and avoids crazy postage costs. Though I understand why others prefer tactile books :)

I have Tenina's Merry Chrismix ebook and have looked at it once. I find I have to really try hard to look at the magazines I download from the library.
I probably won't buy this book in either form as I have enough cookbooks to last me forever x 10.

I actively seek out ebooks particularly cookbooks because I have too many bookshelves at home physically overflowing with books and cookbooks. I've scanned a lot of my cookbooks as pdf's to make it easier to manage my collection. While I was doing it I found books that I'd forgotten I even had. My cookbooks are all cataloged in Eat Your Books and I have the pdf's stored in Dropbox so I can access them wherever I am on a computer or ipad or even my phone. I've bought both of Alyce's books as ibooks and will probably get this one as well. As you can tell I'm a big fan of electronic books......
-
I will buy it. I found her QFITT good. Hopefully it will be in Dymocks like the others and I will check it out before I buy it.
-
Hi Cookie, just to let you know Quick Fix: Every Occasion will be available in all bookshops that stock Quick Fix in the Thermomix, so you should be able to head to Dymocks and take a look :) they should have stock in September.
-
Thanks Alyce. I'm usually given Dymocks vouchers for gifts so it is very handy. I'm looking forward to buying this one.
