 ??? Hi to everyone, not sure if I am in the right area, still trying to navigate my way around. Looking forward to trying out and possibly posting recipes in the future. I have had my TM for around 8 months and enjoying lots of new things I would never even dreamed I would/could ever attempt to make from scratch, but still hope to learn more. Regards to all. :)

You are certainly in the right place Kookla, welcome to the forum.  Just ask if you have an queries but after 8 months you should be going well.  What have you been cooking?

I'm from the ACT too... I love making hot food with my tmx to warm us on these chilly days.

 :)Hello and thankyou for such a warm welcome!! Yes we have had some really cold nights here but thankfully followed by sunny days. I have been making different types of bread and rolls, cinnamon scrolls, pasta dough, butter, custards steamed puddings, and heaps of cakes and muffins as well as soups and risotto.looking forward to trying crumpets and English muffins. I use the TM more for preparation than cooking, especially meat dishes, haven't yet broken old habits but it gets used most days, sometimes multiple times. :P  regards to all

Kookla - a very warm welcome!  You probably won't need much more to go with your TMX than the forum!  No question too small or too complicated!!  Someone is bound to come up with an answer for you!  Looking forward to hearing more from you in the near future! :D

Hi Astarra and thankyou for the welcome. At the moment there is only myself and DH, however I have a boomerang son who comes and goes when it pleases him although has recently built a new house for himself with a full on home theatre/ media room so he may have gone for good this time, lol but he still drops by often to raid my fridge!. One of my daughters and her family ( DH and four children) live within walking distance from us so they are over quite often for a meal. Two other daughters visit from Sydney and visit regularly so when everyone is here it is quite a full house. What about you, do you have a large family?

Thewre are only 3 of us to eat here, and I wish I could do more baking as we all try to watch our weight here. The neighbours see me coming with baked food and lock their doors. :'(
It is great if there are lots to eat your TMX food, then you can make more.

 ;) :o :P Wow, things have really heated up here in Canberra tonight, I can feel the blast from here! Very interesting times ahead me thinks!! Maybe no frosts for a while. Lol

Yes I have been watching and listening.  I wonder how things will turn out now. Interesting times.
My brother works in the tax office over there and lives in Bungendore.
