Just saw this on UK eBay - someone got ripped off to the tune of £435 for a kid's Thermomix :o (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/THERMOMIX-TM31-VAROMA-VORWERK-BIMBY-NEW-/261195130710?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Food_SM&hash=item3cd0716756 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/THERMOMIX-TM31-VAROMA-VORWERK-BIMBY-NEW-/261195130710?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Food_SM&hash=item3cd0716756) - beggars belief. Just shows you need to check the description to make sure what it is you're bidding for. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is :-))

Maybe they think it is the real deal.
-
Haha. That's pretty cute though. Imagine the mess my kids would make if they had that.
-
They must have thought so to bid so high Cookie. Caveat emptor and read the sales blurb - I don't know of any "real" Thermomix that can run on 4 x 1.5v batteries! ???
-
some one has heaps of money..
-
They obviously thought they were buying a real Thermomix, it's so easy to get caught when you're looking for a bargain priced TMX because you can't afford the price of a new one.

Helene of Super Kitchen Machine mentions a toy Bimby, but I couldn't find one on her link.

Here's a link to the Spanish site for one at 50 euros http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&ei=WLlvUYjtB8mkO-PsgLAC&hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dthermomix%2Bspain%26hl%3Den-GB%26rlz%3D1T4ADSA_enGB359GB359&rurl=translate.google.co.uk&sl=es&u=http://shop.vorwerk.es/thermomix/accesorios-thermomix/thermomixr-de-juguete-para-ni-os.html&usg=ALkJrhj55DLD8X_V9W1B9EI8fmCh5u791w (http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&ei=WLlvUYjtB8mkO-PsgLAC&hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dthermomix%2Bspain%26hl%3Den-GB%26rlz%3D1T4ADSA_enGB359GB359&rurl=translate.google.co.uk&sl=es&u=http://shop.vorwerk.es/thermomix/accesorios-thermomix/thermomixr-de-juguete-para-ni-os.html&usg=ALkJrhj55DLD8X_V9W1B9EI8fmCh5u791w)
