SO DELICOUS that I had to somehow ensure that everyone else can enjoy it too. Adds a unique zing to any chicken dish. Don't be put off by the long list of spices as you will probably have them already. Make a packet in advance to enjoy or gift to someone who will enjoy the flavour sachet. You don't need to mix in the TM but I just am putting it here so you can see this recipe and enjoy. Serves 6.
Ingredients:
1.5 tsp sea salt
1 tsp basil, dried
1 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
1 tsp Teninas chicken stock powder (or 1/8 chicken bouillon granules equavalent)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dry mustard powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp thyme dried
1/2 tsp chilli flakes (optional)
1/4 tsp celery seed
1/4 tsp parsley, dried
1/8 ground cumin
1/8 cayenne pepper
Method:
Add all ingredients to the TM bowl and mix on Speed 5 for 5 seconds. In a bag put chicken pieces to serve 6 people and add sufficient olive oil to mix everything together. I actuallly don't even put it in the TM jug as you can just mix all the lovely spices together easily beforehand and then add the spices to the slightly oiled chicken.
Bake until cooked to perfection.

Am doing this seasoning on a whole chicken to roast tonight..... :)
-
maybe omit the chili flakes if your kids don't like it, as there is still a bit of cayenne to spice things up
-
We had this again last night and I was a little too heavy handed with the cayenne. Phew it was hot. Still lovely though. I'm going to prepare a couple of little packets to take up to Moneky Mia..
