Have finally found out how to introduce myself, don't laugh. Found out by reading that one of the forum members had the same problem, anyway here goes. I have had my thermy for 3 1/2 years and I 'm totally in love with it. My hubbie bought it for me after hearing about it from someone else. I was a bit sceptical at first until I saw it being demonstrated and that was it, love at first sight. Now that I have found the forum I am even happier.

Hi Astarra
I cook for just me and the hubbie but have 5 grandchildren so I like to make things for them also. I also like to entertain. I have a daughter and 2 daughter-in-laws who also have thermies so we are constantly talking to one another with anything new that we have tried.

Welcome to the forum, well how are you going with your cooking after 3 1/2 years, I love the forum it gives me so much incentive to cook new things.

Hi Aussie Brenda, have tried various things in my thermy one of them being my daughter's wedding cake. I found a recipe on the UK thermomix website for Christmas Cake, wedding cake, christening cake and it turned out really well.
