Hi. I just received my Thermomix today when my son and his mentor demoed the machine. I am excited!

You guys are all so nice. Thanks for the welcome. I didn't know anything about the Thermomix until a month ago. My son (21 years old) began going to demos with a friend who is a Thermomix distributor. When my son came home raving about the device and how easy it would be for him to cook, I knew I had to look into it. We were going to get a Roomba vacuum robot, but my husband decided that we could continue to clean the floors ourselves. So, since I had the money saved, and it is approaching my birthday, and I needed a new blender, we asked for a demo.

My son did the demo, proving that he can cook. So now we have the device and are excited.

Due to our holiday of Passover approaching, where we change over the whole kitchen and use different appliances, including a different oven and stovetop, we're saving our first adventures with the Thermomix for then.

Hi,
Alexis, I have three sets of bowls and 3 varomas: meat, milk, and parve. We keep all our meat and milk separate. The Thermomix is great because I don't have a lot of space and I only need to store the untensils, not whole stovetops!

Suzanne, Passover commemorates the Jews leaving Egypt when Moses took them out across the Reed sea and through the desert. It is a holiday that celebrates freedom.
