Title: Thermo cookbook 4 ingredients
Post by: charlieboy on February 07, 2013, 07:29:47 pm
Hi Everyone

Has anyone purchased the Thermo Cookbook by Kim McCosker 4 Ingredients?  It is supposed to be for Thermochef Thermomix Bellini.
I hope this hasn't already been asked.  I couldn't find it anywhere.

Thanks :)

I have it. I've not used it, I've spotted a couple of mistakes/omissions and the picture of the pumpkin risotto looks like baby food mush :/..there is a thread somewhere...the book is called Thermo Struck.

I have the book as it was given to me. I don't use it at all, plenty of better books available.

I'm with you. 4 ingredients means using jars, packets and boxes = nasties!

Uni and I got a free copy of the 4 ingredients "Herb it Up" at the food and wine fair last year. I haven't even looked at it, wonder if Uni has made anything out of it?

Well, I have just been browsing through 4 ingredients "Herb it Up". It was written by Kim McCoster for Gourmet Garden herbs - you know, the herbs in a tube of which I use the coriander all the time. Only up to page 51 and I am pleasantly suprised and have loads of recipes to try. The only can so far is condensed milk. You could substitute the tubed herbs for fresh ones, especially the garlic.

Uni see if you can find your copy  ;D
