Wow that's a long article. So much cheaper to buy in the UK we certainly get ripped off here
-
Wow, that's almost $600 cheaper!
With that saving, we could cover the cost of the other appliances we have all bought after reading the shopping thread- icecream maker, pasta maker, pizza machine...........
LOL
-
it cheaper to buy from overseas, and then get a adapter.
long article though.
-
It is Robyn but you don't get the warranty which is peace of mind for a couple of years :)
-
yeah MF, but mine thermie is over 3 years, and no worries..... touch wood.
if mine ever broke, I would buy from overseas, saves the demo.
-
You don't have to have a demo you can just one :)

I think Aust HO will have to think through some changes if they want to keep selling a high volume. . . .I've been told apparently it's evening out a little to what it was . . .

I know two people recently who have ordered from UK if you are saving $600 then you can afford to pay for your repairs should you be unlucky and have something go wrong. My DH gets a lot of things shipped from UK each month for his business so i would probably order one from there myself if I ever got another one. There is also a great website over there where you can get any bit for your broken kitchen gadgets. I had a delonghi coffee machine there was only one place in Perth that fixes them, charge you 50 just to look at it, they wanted 350 to replace a pump and something else we ordered them from web in UK cost 60 pounds and DH put them in himself. Massive saving!

Better article than the Daily Mail one. ;D

Great article. But I doubt they will just ship it over to us Aussies. Probably have rules and restrictions on selling to uk residents only. How many machines can DJ and CC buy in one week for us? And then you would want it packed really really well. IMO its just too risky.
