Title: My Dream Machine
Post by: GlendaJ on December 27, 2012, 02:57:08 am
Have now had my TM for 3 weeks and I am in love!  Have made quite a few things, Raspberry cheesecake, Rice Flour, Dips, White chocolate rockyroad-used for all the nuts, Zucchini slice and Sweet and Sour meatballs.  The Zucchini slice was great, even my 2year old grandson ate this. Slowly converting my husband as he is starting to notice my enthusiasm for cooking again. I agree with some of the comments on the spatula, I find it hard to use. I mainly use my silicon ones, so much easier. Looking forward to to all the hints and tips to help me get the most out of my TM.  This is a great forum which I will certainly use constantly. thanks

Hi Glenda, welcome to the forum, yes I have to agree it is a dream machine. I've had mine about 18 months and still reave about it , it renewed my interest in cooking as well, well maybe it was the forum that truly done that, so many wonderful recipes and ideas.

I agree, the options you can use it for a amazing. My daughter in law has  recently purchased the TM as well and she makes her own butter and bread. Trying to be more aware of the additives that are in a lot of our foods and wanting to avoid them by making our own products.  TM is great for that.

Yes Glenda I have made my own butter and always make bread and rolls, I was wrapped the other day to make my own condensed milk, I love the way it stirs as it cooks.

Welcome Glenda. A perfect time of the year to get your machine as you can use it for icecreams and sorbets. ( that is if you are having hot weather where you are ).

Hi Glenda, welcome to the forum.  Not sure which is everyone's favourite condensed milk recipe but MJ, one of our members, has a couple of alternative recipes on her blog here (http://bushgourmand.blogspot.com.au/2012/07/home-made-condensed-milk.html)

Hello Glenda and welcome. Sounds like you are off and racing with your tmx. I have learnt that just about anything can be made in the tmx. Just go to the search part of this forum and type in what you are looking for. Found a link to make creamed corn the other as I had run out. How easy is that :)
