thought this would be a nice veggie option for Christmas - just wondering if anyone has a Thermo recipe for a nice mushroom wellington they could share? thanks!

Welcome Edie to the forum. Why not pop over to the Introduce Yourself section and tell us about yourself.
I found this recipe (http://www.lifestylefood.com.au/recipes/4369/mushroom-wellington) Edie. It looks easy enough to convert :)

Hi edie, thanks for joining us and your first posting. Please do take CC's suggestion so that we can all formally welcome you.
I was wondering if this (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=8177.0) recipe from Tenina's Dinner Spinner Booklet would serve the purpose - I really enjoyed it. Check out the photos and reviews, no recipe on the forum but I did find the recipe on Tenina's blog here (http://tenina.com/2008/04/mushroom-and-feta-strudel/).

Gordon Ramsay made this one on the telly last night and it looked amazing

Welcome to the forum Edie.
That looks like a gorgeous recipe, CC, I only wish my DH wasn't lactose intolerant so that I could (fantasise about) giving it a go. An option which might work, although nowhere near as spectacular as a "Wellington" is to make the Beef Stroganoff recipe in the EDC, but use tofu instead of beef - in fact, thinking about it, this may work as the filling for a "Wellington" - it's a while since I have made it so cannot remember it really well, but may help to give you some ideas if nothing else.
In case you haven't done so already, have a browse through the vegetarian and vegan recipes on this forum and see if anything else catches your fancy - in fact, I think I may have posted the Tofu Stroganoff recipe on there quite some time ago, but cannot remember for sure.

Thanks everyone - much appreciated!
I have a few good recipes for this but need to adapt them to the thermo; was just being a bit lazy thinking someone may have one handy! I was a bit unsure about adapting cooking times/chopping speeds/times etc with the nuts & other ingredients in case they end up being over done but I'll have a play around with these - they all look lovely. thanks again :D
