MF,
It was our mission to get you back up and running. Even if we had to go to the moon and back! The forum was certainly missing something.
Lovely to see you back here.

Got to throw Amy & CC in here as they also played their part. :-* :-*
Great result MF, lovely to have you back fully restored :D :D
-
Thanks everyone :)
Have a laugh and go into my profile.
Seems like I have set a record of 1475 posts in a day LOL ;D
As Amy says any newbies that see that will wonder how that is possible
Yes Judy, Amy and CC were great as they passed on PM's that I couldn't do.
What an amazing forum we share :D
-
Oh, that's such good news! I would have been so distressed if it happened to me!
Good to see you back online.
-
Good to have you back MF , I had noticed you weren't posting and just thought you had gone on another trip and I had missed it. LOL. Thank goodness you could make contact with the others.
Marie
-
Yes it was very strange but thankfully CC and Amy had my email address and they then sent PM's to Judy.
All good now :)
The lesson I learned was that I need different passwords for different sites so that if my email account is hacked they can't use that password to wreak havoc elsewhere.

Big family trip with all the kids and grand kids to Singapore and Penang Marie :)
Was originally booked for boxing day this year. After flights were paid and accomodation booked DD 2 found out she was pregnant and due boxing day :o
Was a nightmare trying to reschedule to suit our business as my husband, 2 daughters, one son and one son in law all work in the business which was why it was going to be over Xmas and New year break when everything is shut down.
-
That is something to look forward to. Would be hard to change dates etc. with so many family members working at same place. DD can't have long to go now. A christmas baby :)
Marie
-
Could be any day now Marie. Hopefully before Christmas or after as I am having everyone here Xmas day.
Can't guess as baby will come when ready and not before :)
Very exciting
-
First grandchild or not MF? :)
-
Number 11 for us Astarra. :)
We have 7 Grand-daughters and 3 Grandsons at the moment. DD doesn't know what she is having. They have two girls aged 6 and 5 and a boy age 2 :)
-
I'm really excited for you and DD MF ;D ;D ;D
-
I am excited too Amy :)
Hope it comes soon but DD's mother in law is coming over from Zimbabwe and not arriving till Xmas day.
She wants to be here for the birth as she has only been her for the birth of one of them :(
She is staying for a couple of months so plenty time to spend with everyone
-
It would be nice if DD's MIL made it over for this one :D
So does she live in Zimbabwe? :)
-
Yes Amy his whole family are in Zimbabwe.
He is the only one here :)
-
Oh wow! :D He must miss them sometimes though :(
-
Wow, it sounds amazing! :o :D Is he able to follow the traditions of his culture over here?
Was you speech good? ;D What did you have to say?
-
LOL of course ;D
When I have a daughter, I don't think I would like to give her to anyone else :(
I can't believe you came up with a speech like that on the spot. Wow :o :D
-
MF amazing, sounds good, another grandchild.
:) :)
I could have grandkids, if I had my kids 20 years ago... :) :)
-
I got my first one just after I turned 40 Robyn :o
She will be 18 in February.
-
My niece is 27.,,,,,
should have been her Mum :)
-
LOL ;D
My niece and my GD are the same age and great friends.
How old are your kids Robyn?
-
great to see you back MF, have been thinking about you and if your new grandbaby had arrived
-
so exciting, I felt bigger with my 4th, probably my age though
-
Actually I was bigger with my fourth too. That was pregnant DD. she will be 29 in January and I had her just after my 30th.
Where do the years go.
Is Lily your 4th?
-
yes I was 36 when I had her, must be the number 4
-
Must be :)
-
I think I'll stop at three when I have kids then ;D
-
don't worry Amy, I went back to my same size after, would of loved more though;D
-
I went back to my size straight after each one too Amy so don't worry :)
Four is a great number. I would do it all again in a heartbeat :D
-
Thats a relief to know ;D
I must admit I've always wanted lots of kids :)
-
I always wanted 5 kids, DH always wanted an even number so says 4 or 6.....we have 3!! :)
-
I always wanted 3 but stopped at two. The youngest was born quickly and 10 pounds 7 ounces. DH is a twin too so was really scared to try again!
-
happy I have my 4 wish we didn't get older and ivf wasn't needed then it wouldn't matter I would of had another one or two
-
I can't remember how many I wanted. Maybe 3 to start with. But ended up having 5 which is perfect. My two oldest boys are from a previous relationship. Then DH and I had 2 girls so it was only fair to try for a boy for DH, and luckily The last one was a boy :)
I found going from 1 to 2 was a shock to the system then going from 2 to 3 made no difference. 3 to 4 was full on and 5 just fitted in perfect :)
-

You're still young astarra ;) :D

Twins usually skip a generation Kimmy, so you should be safe ;D Its your kids that will have to worry about double trouble!
-
My grandad was a twin and my dads brother was a twin. He and his wife had twins. DH 's grandma was a twin and she also had twins.
So far none of our siblings have had twins and none of our kids have.
I don't think I would have liked having to cope with 2 at once but I guess if it happened you would manage fine.
I was very happy with four and have more grandchildren than I ever imagined which is great ;D
-
I wouldn't count on twins skipping a generation....my Grandad and Nana (dad's parents) have: twin brother and sister, twin daughters, twin grand daughters (1 of the twin daughters had twin daughters!) , and twin great grandsons.
My Great grandma on mum's side had....3 sets of triplets, 2 sets of twins and 1 single. :o (Not all of them lived tho. :( ) and then had triplet grandkids and twin great grandkids.
But on DHs side it has skipped a generation... Mil's mum had twins, now DH's brother has twins!! ;D
-
Okay, so it sounds like it must be a myth! :-)) ;D
I would love to have twins, but it doesn't run in our family. Unless that is another myth? ;)
Astarra... wow, your poor great grandma!
-
You could have twins by freak of nature Amy, or it could run in your future DH's family!! ;)
-
my dad and FIL are both twins and most of my transfers I had 2 embryos put back but didn't get them, my mum wanted twins didn't get them just 6 singletons
-
technically my ds7 and Lily are twins just 4 years apart same egg collection and fertilisation shared the same dish when created Lily just waited in the freezer a little longer;D
-
Thats funny Suzanne, having twins that aren't twins :D
You could have twins by freak of nature Amy, or it could run in your future DH's family!! ;)
Good point astarra! That is now part of the criteria for any potential DH's ;D
-
Gosh we would have to check out a potential DH for Amy :)
-
LOL Robyn, no rush ;)
-
Glad there is no rush Amy.
-

Tell that to my uncles wife Amy. Her mum is a twin who had two sets of twins (my aunty being one). My Aunty then had twin boys and one of those boys had twin girls born last year! No generation skip there!
-
Ahh... yet more proof that it must be a myth :-))
-
Or urban legend.
Just goes to show you anything is possible in this strange world :)
-
So true and who can know?
-
It's what makes life great, the unexpected!
