Super excited. Placed my order and it will be delivered in about 10 days (I guess). I am now trying to organise a delivery demo here in Auckland, NZ. Yay, yay, yay.
-
Congratulations on the impending arrival.
-
Welcome to the forum. Look forward to hearing more once your machine arrives.
-
How exciting for you. We always say the waiting for the machine is by far the hardest part. You will have a little time to peruse the forum and select a couple of things to make.
-
Just in time for Christmas gendi. Good luck with trying to organise a demo at this late stage, do you think you are in with a chance?
-
Hi and welcome, great Chrissie present for yourself.
-
Hi well done and welcome to the forum

My consultant said it might come before 10 days, will ring early next week once they know for sure and suggested we do a delivery demo so I can get a thermoserver. So she's up for it - hope between us we can find a time that suits that week.
-
Good luck gendi! Looking forward to hearing how you get on with the TM.

Thanks everyone. And yes, Auckland's weather is quite stormy at moment. I am slightly more north of North Shore of Auckland and there have been a few tornados there over the years. Yesterday's was West Auckland (maybe 30-40kms) from where we are - Auckland's not 'that' big. 3 people dead when a concrete wall at a new school build site collapsed on their truck. :( Massive damage to houses in 1 particular part of a new subdivision as the tornado weaved through it - and smaller damages in more outlying areas from the main path. Plus regular wind and flood damage from the flash floods from the heavy rain in short time frame. All happened really quickly - as tornados are prone to do.
Things like that give you pause to think. Hope everyone is enjoying their day and living with purpose and gratitude - I guess.
And thanks for the warm welcome and I am busy looking up recipes and making plans!
:)

Oops pressed the send button too soon. Congratulations gendi, now exactly how you feel being a new owner myself. I have been cooking up a storm (forgive the pun) since I got Thermie.
