Title: Hello from Holland

Hello,

I ordered my Thermomix two days ago and can not wait to receive it. I am 40 years old, from Holland, Europe. mother of two sons (3 and 5 years old), with a busy job. Love to cook and enjoy a diversity of foods. Hope to learn a lot from you all!!

Hi Caroline, welcome to the forum.  I'm pretty sure you are our first member from Holland, someone will correct me if I am wrong though.  How great to have you aboard and how exciting that you are soon to become the proud owner of a Thermomix.

Welcome to the Forum Caroline.  What part of Holland are you from?  We stayed in Utrecht for a couple of weeks last year,  loved it.  Also visited many other cities.

Welcome to the forum.  We were lucky this year to spend a coupld of weeks in your country in May/June starting in Venlo for Floriade.

Wow what a friendly and warm welcome at this forum!

I am from the west of holland, near The Hague. Well, holland is quite small, so everything is quite near something. In about 2-3 hours you can drive from one side to the other side of the country, and you are already in another country.... something different than Australia. If you like I can give you some dutch recipes, of recipes which are popular in Holland when I know how to convert the cooking to the Thermomix..

Caroline we love it when people from different countries share their recipes with the rest of us. I've been trying to think if I have ever eaten anything Dutch apart from Edam cheese  ;D
