-
Merry Christmas, Tenina!! Have just downloaded this lovely gem!! Thank you!! :D
-
Merry Christmas to you too Tenina, about to go and download too. :D
-
Just downloaded this book - the recipes look so tempring and delicious. Sadly, most of them contain dairy products and I cannot use dairy - hopefully I will get hit by inspiration and will be able to make substitutes - I think there will be a lot of experimenting (and tasting) going on over the Xmas period - oh my poor waistline ... I can't wait!

Merry Christmas, Tenina. I have ordered and paid for this new eBook, but will get my DS to down load for me today. Can't wait to get my hands on it. !!!

Hi cuilihh
I haven't seen these recipes yet (just about to buy the book) but in most recipes that contain dairy you can easily substitute Nuttelex for butter, soy or nut milks for milk and soy or tofu "not cream cheese" for cream or sour cream. The taste and texture remains very similar. The only thing difficult to substitute is hard cheeses like Parmesan or Cheddar or Feta etc.
These substitutes work in Tenina's other recipes.
I hope this makes more of these recipes available to you.

Thank you Tenina more wonderful recipes to try, now just have to find time to make them all ;D
-
Downloaded and added quite a few to my Christmas List (or should that now be Christmix List?) - planning on a few homemade gifts, and some beautiful ideas in there.
;D

a terrific variety!
...so pleased the smoked chicken pâté actually uses chicken, and not their nasty icky smelly livers! Thanks for that…I use coconut cream or milk as a replacement for a lot of dairy…so hoping you can do that as well. It almost works in the same manner.
Enjoy! :D

Downloaded. What a wonderful variety. Now what to make first?
-
I'm hoping to make the lavender shortbread biscuits this arvo if I get time (and feel like it when I get home) ;D
-
Another thank you dear Tenina. It is so good to be able to select a recipe and to know that it will turn out. May you have an enjoyable Christmas and a bit of rest time

Can anyone please clarify for me in the ebook if its Thai Chicken in zucchini cups or Thai Prawns in zucchini cups ???
I've seen on Tenina's Pinterest that it says chicken but on the index here it says prawns.
If it is prawns, can I substitute for chicken? I'm allergic to prawns.
Thanks! :)
-
Kt2 it is definitely Thai prawn in zucchini cups in the ebook - cant see why you couldn't substitute 150g of cooked chicken if you prefer.
-
Thanks snappy ;D
Glad to know chicken should be ok instead. ;)

YIKES kt2, you had me scared for a mo…you are totally right, it is prawns in the recipe, but you can certainly use chicken fillet in the same way. Glad you picked that up, off to fix Pinterest!! hahaha

Thank you both, I have just started using Nuttelex, still need to expand into other substitutes for cream, etc. Looking forward to giving them a go.
