Title: Butter substitution in a cake recipe
Post by: Cuilidh on November 15, 2012, 02:10:26 am
I am going to give this Canned Cake (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=10944.0#top) recipe of Stef's a go this weekend but cannot use butter.  Any suggestins for a successful butter substitute?

Would a dairy-free spready be alright Marina? I often use Nuttelex in baking because my SD can't tolerate dairy.

Nuttelex is what I was thinking of as well, I just wanted the reassurance.  Thanks for that Amy and Chookie.
