Thanks and apologies - Lynette MacDonald from Sydney alerted me to those facts, but I hadn't opened the email (oops).

Lynette also has started a website http://www.thermi.com.au/ (http://www.thermi.com.au/).

Let me see, Time, Time and ummm Time  ;) :D :D :D

I would love to! Really, Honestly and Truely! And would love to convert a lot more recipes (I actually now purchase recipe books with converting in mind) but alas, the pile keeps growning - LOL.

Just had a brain wave of what it would be about... Thanks Thermomixer.  OK my new goal is to better manage my time and do this.

Well I have flipped through The Australian and haven't seen any sign of the article or the Wish magazine  ???. So I presume this may come out tomorrow?? Fingers crossed.

Turns out I got a newspaper without the magazine  >:(

Anyway there is a HUGE article in there. So I'm off to another newsagents...

Thanks for the link for this.  I will go and get the paper now!
I have also emailed my TM rep as she didn't mention it to me.
Perhaps it was a secret?! ;)

OMG  :o :o :o :o- South Aussies weren't meant to see this - the little mushrooms that they are  ;) ;) ;) ;)

I haven't received anything from my consultant via email since March !!  Don't feel special Amanda.  It was a Sydney consultant who alerted me.

From what I-L-B said, it sounds like TMX HQ in Australia sent something to consultants, but not their loyal clients.  :-)) :-))

It's a great article. I'm going to use it to explain to people what my machine does.

Hi All,

Well it turns out that you city folk's are privilidged to more than us country bumpkins  ;)

The Australian only provides the Wish magazine to city folks - while in the country we fork out the same $1.50 and don't get the mag.... thought I was going mad this morning running around news agents 'telling them' that there should be a Wish mag and going through all their papers frantically searching for the 'holy grail'.... but alas we're not to see it  >:(

So for those of you that have missed out here's a copy.

http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/business/story/0,,25585875-5018055,00.html

(If you would like a pdf file copy let me know and I can email it through. The file was too big to post here.)

From what I-L-B said, it sounds like TMX HQ in Australia sent something to consultants, but not their loyal clients.  :-)) :-))

Correct Thermomixer - HQ sent the email to consultants. But I'm sure that you madly obsessed Thermomix groupies (including myself of course!!) would love to share in the excitment to  ;) ;D ;D ;D

To me it helps prove to those who think it's a bit of a gadget that's it's sooooo much more!!

Well, someone sent me 2 notifications of this story today so I didn't miss out - maybe one was my consultant and maybe HQ sent the other one.  So SA clients are not forgotten afterall. ;) ;) The video kept stopping though so it took twice as long to show me how they made the souffle - very impressed.

Are you saying you sent one or both of them ILB - not a problem though, better to have received 2 than none at all.  Thanks also for PM  :-* :-*

Just got a newsletter come through from HQ that should go to anyone on the newsletter mailing list - so everyone should know about it  ;D ;D

Are you saying you sent one or both of them ILB - not a problem though, better to have received 2 than none at all.  Thanks also for PM  :-* :-*

JD I think I sent about 3 today (1/ No it's not in todays, 2/ Yes it is in todays... 3/ Explained how only city got it and attached a pdf file with the article)... I was pretty confused there for a while  ??? ??? ???, till I spoke with HQ and went over every detail on the front cover and page 2 until we worked out there is a city version with the mag and a country version without.  >:( >:( >:( I was very displeased  ;)

You just wanted us all to see it ILB and we all share your enthusiasm  ;D ;D  I didn't agree with a couple of things in the article, one being that it isn't a nice looking machine -  personally, I think it looks great - almost space age.

I received notification of the article from a very kind ILB, otherwise I wouldn't have known. Thanks.
