Congratulations Amanda, when we have worked hard sometimes you have to think "why am I doing this?" But when all of your hard work pays off it is a wonderful feeling.
There is nothing shameless about being proud of an achievement.

Amanda you are an organiser extraordinaire and to be entrusted with something like this latest task does indeed show the confidence people have in you. To think we were lucky enough to have you sitting amongst us last Saturday sharing your stories with us when you were in the middle of organising this event - it was such a privilege to have been in that group. Here's to another successful event next weekend and you have every reason to be so proud of the time and effort you have put into it.

What a job you have tackled Amanda. Well done I know everything will go smoothly and you will have a great weekend. It's always a huge amount of work organising something like this - having helped organise three big conferences with international guests coming from various places around the globe, I know exactly what you have gone through. Thank you all so much for indulging my boastfulness. :-))
This week has not been without some major, unforeseen, challenges - including my son having a post-op haemorrhage, ambulance trip & emergency surgery - but tomorrow I hit the deck running and hope it all goes smoothly.
I'm VERY looking forward to next week & having it all behind me, one way or another.
Also looking forward to sharing a cuppa and some lemons with Karen next week!

As they say in france amanda 'merde' (in case u dont know what the translation is or look it up lol .. is french version of break a leg and not an insult :)) and hope it all goes well .. In any case you have done what you can and hope ds is now fine :)

Glad to hear all is well again on the home front Amanda and you can now concentrate on the job again. Big weekend coming up and you will need that cuppa with Karen next week. By the way, there was nothing wrong with those eggs you gave me.
