Title: Cooking up a storm!
Post by: the annoyed thyroid on October 27, 2012, 12:31:38 am: A thermomix has been top of my wish list ever since I saw it at my trainer's demo in May. It took me a couple of months to encourage my husband to splash the cash, but we've been feeling the thermie love ever since!

I got thyroid cancer twice last year - the whole journey was quite a rollercoaster - so in an effort to stay sane and keep out of mischief, I started to blog about my experience. During my diagnosis, treatment, and subsequent "recovery", cooking and running have kept body and soul together (but not cooking and running at the same time, you understand!) As a result, www.theannoyedthyroid.com has evolved into a curious mix of cooking and cancer.

I've been cooking up a storm in that thermie, and I love the healthy food it makes, and that it's all so fast, fresh and fabulous! The recipes on the forum look amazing and I've made a good start trying them out!

In the meantime, feel free to drop by the blog and see what's cooking! Of course, feel free to comment!

Must dash, it's time to have some fun on this forum! ;D

I have also been down that path and have found the friends that I have made on this forum have helped brighten my life so much. It's one of the first things I look at each day and if I am ever feeling a little down then I only have to go to this site to read some of the posts like Gerts , have a good laugh and then get on with it.
