Does anybody have the recipe for Fruity Pear Mince.  I believe it was in the Festive Flavours cookbook.  I hope you can help.

Festive Flavours has just been reprinted and is available for purchase online from http://Thermomix.com.au - take online store link then cookbooks link.  Itt's a low-price publication with heaps of popular recipes.

Hi Suzanne,  Unfortunately it is not on the Thermomix site, so look as if it is out of production., but thank you any way.

Whoops - so newly rereleased it's too soon for it to be on website.  Have heard the book can be bought from Dec 1st online.  It may be at cooking classes a bit earlier - not sure.

Hi Glenric, there's a great recipe on the UK Thermomix website http://www.ukthermomix.com/recshow.php?rec_id=122 (http://www.ukthermomix.com/recshow.php?rec_id=122) that must be similar to what you're after. I used this last Christmas and it went down a storm.

And here's a great tip I inherited from my Mom - when you make your mince pies spoon a large blob of frangipane mix (whip up equal quantities of egg whites, ground almonds and ground sugar with a couple of drops of almond essence or dark rum in your TMX) on top instead of a pastry lid and then bake. REALLY delicious  :P
