Can't help Robyn sorry are you going to start a blog?
-
Thinking about it Yvette :)
-
Cool I hope someone can help you out :)

I did toy with the idea myself a few times, but came to the conclusion that I probably spend enough time in front of a screen as it is ;)
...then I thought what if no one reads it, or thought my ramblings not worthy....so I canned the idea :P

Funnily enough I started a blog last week and I am using wordpress, our IT guy suggested I try this first as you can move it if it keeps going.
I can't believe how many people have read my blog, as it about nothing really, but i have had a great deal of comments and I have 5 followers already.
I did find some of the workings in wordpress are not what different instructional websites show, my advice is that if you go use wordpress, use the instructions of the wordpress site as they are up to date and accurate.
PS! my blog is http://50plusandlovinglife.wordpress.com

I have 2 Blogs and both are Blogspot. Blogspot have recently changed the way they work , but I managed to survive the change. I am not very good at this technology but the Blog is useful in that everything I put on my Blog ,achookwoman, is also posted here.
My other blog has non Thermo recipes. It is good that I can separate them out. From my Blogs . I am able to link back to the Forum. Every day I learn something new to do with the computer as I try to use the Blogs to apply to my needs. I would encourage you to have a Blog if it is for a particular purpose. Some Blogs are REALLY awful.
Maddy you should seriously consider one, for all those beautiful photos you take. It would be a good reference for you for future years. ;D

I'll second that ACW!! Well, Maddy . . how about it? ;D
-
I have used both.
Got on fine with both, but when at my last job did another one and decided on Wordpress. I think it is my preference.
They are both fairly intuitive, and have clear instructions and help pages.
You could be clever and set up two, one in each and then after a few goes go with which you prefer. Then either take down the discard or put a link in from the one you choose to discard to the one you keep going with.

Why Uni? have I missed something?
just a liltte challenge i have set for myself DJ
a few weeks ago i was trying to cook 2 separate meals 1 for me and 1 for DH
not much on the net that i liked
not that easy cooking for one
-
Good luck with the cooking for one!
I use blogspot for both my blogs. I find when I read other people's blogs, I much prefer the blogspot ones.
It works in with google accounts whereas with WP, you need to register then log in to it to comment on WP blogs. At least, the ones I've been following anyway.
Yes maddy, do start a food photo blog!

I use wordpress - when I actually blog. I am incredibly slack........
