Title: Hi from another newbie

Hi I have been registered here for nearly 12 months - now just to figure out how this works!  I have just been searching and snooping for recipes when i need inspiration!

Is there any way to be notified when someone posts a new recipe?

Hi Kerrin, welcome to the forum and thanks for finally posting.  We often wonder where all our registered members are and why they don't actually come on here and say anything.

If you want to know when a new posting has been made in a particular thread eg soups - click on soups on the home page and then when it takes you to all the listed recipes, click on 'notify' on the top right hand side of the page.  You will then received email notification whenever anyone either posts a new recipe or comments on an existing one.

You can also click on "Show unread posts since last visit" on the home page beneath your avatar if you don't get on here very often.  Then it is just a matter of browsing through to see if there is any subject you are interested in.  Most of us do this and then read every single posting made  :-)) ;D

Love to see you posting more, giving some reviews of the recipes you have tried from either here or the books and joining in our conversations.  Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask - there will always be someone here who will come to your aid.  Have fun!
