Just wondering ... Please put it here cos we'd like to know. Link if applicable
-
Thats so hard CP, I bake heaps.
cakes and slices and muffins :D
-
i have been thinking of this Q since 4am :-))
-
I think it would probably be these:
Zucchini, Cheese and Bacon Mini Quiches http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=10413.0 (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=10413.0)
and
Winter Banana Smoothie http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=9687.0 (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=9687.0)
:D :D :D
-
CP you didn't tell us yours. ;)
I don't know. Probably at the moment my yeast products, sweets, cakes and biscuits. Also the fact that I am always cooking. Everytime DH's mates call round they say 'are you cooking AGAIN?'
-
Amy just checked out the banana smoothie looks great don't know how I missed it. If I wanted to do it cold would the oats be ok, or would they need to be cooked?
-
I was just wondering cos some cooks are more known say for their baking rather than their mains, and sometimes people will say "oh she makes the best somethingorother!" I do like to knock up the odd you know what (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4048.0) :-*
-
Hum, the kids would say "Tasty leftovers in the fridge" They walk in the door and go straight to the fridge.
-
I really don't know the answer to this one CP as I do a bit of this and a bit of that, more mains than desserts. Pre-TMX days it was always a pavlova I would take anywhere but these days so few people have parties etc that I can't remember the last time I took anything anywhere.
Uni, are you still thinking :D
-
yes i am JD :-))
-
I would have to say my curries ,Indian, Thai and Indonesian especially. ;D
-
I often bake cakes, biscuits or muffins to bring in to work. For my birthday last week I offered to make a cake or muffins to bring in to work, and I asked everyone at work what they wanted. Their reply - my choc caramel muffins. These muffins come from my pre-TMX days, and were made with packet cake choc muffin mix with a teaspoonfull of tinned caramel top-n-fill in the middle. I thought OMG after everything else I can bake, all they want is the pre-packaged stuff. So I made the muffins with homemade dulce le leche (spanish caramel) from the forum, and bimby choc cake mixture instead. They ate them, then told me they werent up to my usual standard, maybe it was my new oven, and that they liked the ones I used to make instead :o :o :o
So clearly, I am best known at work for cooking pre-packaged stuff :-)) :-)) :-))
-
;D ;D ;D
-
:D too funny Karen
-
;D off the chart funny :-*
-
LOL Karen, you poor thing :-))

The oats would be fine Yvette, I sometimes have it cold too. Just make sure you grind them quite fine so the milk can soak into them easily and they don't stay hard and lumpy ;)
-
Funny Karen... ;D ;D
-
what brand of pkt choc muffin mix what it Karen ?
-
Cadbury choc chip muffin mix and Nestle Caramel Top-n-Fill. Very easy, and obviously very tasty ;)
-
Thanks Amy :)
-
Uni, could you be known for your pasta and cheese?
-
Gee Karen after all that work. Next time time you will know what to make them.
I guess after all the cooking I do, probably the thing I am asked for and made loads of is wait for it .................Tomato Sauce

I was probably known for not wanting to cook until I got my TM :D :D :D :D :D

Uni, when I think of your cooking I think of your thermothingy with its little sheild around it to stop all the splatters of sauce getting on your window ;D ;D ;D

Well, I have just volunteered to have the work Christmas party at our house - so maybe I should just make life easy for myself and go all pre-packaged stuff rather than cooking myself :D :D :D
-

Triffle.
I've been taking it to birthday, engagement and christening parties for about 25yrs.
I didn't want to make it last Christmas and the kids (my own and steps) nearly had a meltdown.
-
... cooking myself :D :D :D
Please don't cook yourself, KarenH
-
Karen, so funny! ;D. Pre TM days it would have been roasted pumpkin soup.
I am probably known best for turning up with dishes made of 'unusual' ingredients. Question asked as I walk through the door - what have you made this time? And what's in it? Always eaten :D
-
... cooking myself :D :D :D
Please don't cook yourself, KarenH
LOL Marina - now that would be one tough and stringy old bird ;) Just so long as someone doesn't try to "beer-ass chicken" me, Gert-style :o
-
Pizza. The family all want me to cook pizza when they come home. When DD2 came home in July and talked to her friends about getting together they wanted to come to our place and would I cook them pizza.
May years ago living in Meekatharra I sued to have the local kids trade kangaroo and bungarra for my pizza.
-
Karen you have a great sense of humour telling us that story. Naughty girl too, you had a birthday and didn't tell us. Please pm me your date so that I can add it to my forum birthday book.
-
Karen that is hysterical.
Great idea having the xmas party at your place. Just create a chemical lab & then they can mix their own ;D
Cant believe they preferred pkt chemical infused food over TM cooking, obviously lovers of maccas etc :)
H :)

DD what is bungarra?
I am best known for desserts. I have a huge sweet tooth so I always bring desserts around to people's house - I worry that they won't have any and I would leave so disappointed. Our best friends do the most wonderful beef rib eyes or lamb when we visit so I always bring a rich dessert. Sometimes dessert and fudge. Sometimes dessert and cakes for the kids.
-
Bungara is racehorse goanna
-
Tastes like chicken.
-
When people taste my brownies, they often don't forget them :-)) I've had people pay me to make my brownies for them ;D
-
Did you cook them DD, or just accept them as a gift?
-
It was usually brought to me cooked and ready to eat. The bungara was cooked on an open fire so had a nice smoked taste. It still had the skin on.
I still like a good roo tail stew.
