Zucchini, Cheese and Bacon Mini Quiches http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=10413.0 (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=10413.0)

and

CP you didn't tell us yours. ;)

I don't know. Probably at the moment my yeast products, sweets, cakes and biscuits. Also the fact that I am always cooking. Everytime DH's mates call round they say 'are you cooking AGAIN?'

Amy just checked out the banana smoothie looks great don't know how I missed it. If I wanted to do it cold would the oats be ok, or would they need to be cooked?

I was just wondering cos some cooks are more known say for their baking rather than their mains, and sometimes people will say "oh she makes the best somethingorother!"   I do like to knock up the odd you know what (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4048.0)  :-*

I really don't know the answer to this one CP as I do a bit of this and a bit of that, more mains than desserts.  Pre-TMX days it was always a pavlova I would take anywhere but these days so few people have parties etc that I can't remember the last time I took anything anywhere.

Uni, are you still thinking  :D

I often bake cakes, biscuits or muffins to bring in to work.  For my birthday last week I offered to make a cake or muffins to bring in to work, and I asked everyone at work what they wanted.  Their reply - my choc caramel muffins.  These muffins come from my pre-TMX days, and were made with packet cake choc muffin mix with a teaspoonfull of tinned caramel top-n-fill in the middle.  I thought OMG after everything else I can bake, all they want is the pre-packaged stuff.  So I made the muffins with homemade dulce le leche (spanish caramel) from the forum, and bimby choc cake mixture instead.  They ate them, then told me they werent up to my usual standard, maybe it was my new oven, and that they liked the ones I used to make instead   :o :o :o

So clearly, I am best known at work for cooking pre-packaged stuff    :-)) :-)) :-))

Amy just checked out the banana smoothie looks great don't know how I missed it. If I wanted to do it cold would the oats be ok, or would they need to be cooked?

The oats would be fine Yvette, I sometimes have it cold too. Just make sure you grind them quite fine so the milk can soak into them easily and they don't stay hard and lumpy ;)

Triffle.
I've been taking it to birthday, engagement and christening parties for about 25yrs.
I didn't want to make it last Christmas and the kids (my own and steps) nearly had a meltdown.

Karen, so funny!  ;D. Pre TM days it would have been roasted pumpkin soup.

I am probably known best for turning up with dishes made of 'unusual' ingredients. Question asked as I walk through the door - what have you made this time? And what's in it? Always eaten   :D

Pizza. The family all want me to cook pizza when they come home. When DD2 came home in July and talked to her friends about getting together they wanted to come to our place and would I cook them pizza.

May years ago living in Meekatharra I sued to have the local kids trade kangaroo and bungarra for my pizza.

Karen that is hysterical.

Great idea having the xmas party at your place. Just create a chemical lab & then they can mix their own ;D

Cant believe they preferred pkt chemical infused food over TM cooking, obviously lovers of maccas etc :)

DD what is bungarra?

I am best known for desserts.  I have a huge sweet tooth so I always bring desserts around to people's house - I worry that they won't have any and I would leave so disappointed.  Our best friends do the most wonderful beef rib eyes or lamb when we visit so I always bring a rich dessert.  Sometimes dessert and fudge.  Sometimes dessert and cakes for the kids.

It was usually brought to me cooked and ready to eat.  The bungara was cooked on an open fire so had a nice smoked taste. It still had the skin on.

I still like a good roo tail stew.
