Hi
My name is Susie and I live in Sydney, I have had my Thermomix for over 1 year, and love it more and more each day.
Cookbooks I have and use are: In The Mix, For Food Sake, Travelling with Thermomix, Devil of a Cookbook, EDC, Vegetarian and also some I got from Spain, I am from Spanish parents so love cooking Spanish food.
My favourite dish at the moment is: Salmon Empanada from the Travelling with Thermomix, Beef Stir Fry from In the Mix, and the Caramelised onion, pumpkin and Persian feta quiche from, Devil of a cookbook. also the Brown Butter Cherry Tart from From Food Sake is amazing.

Welcome, Susie. You are well set up. Enjoy!!

Hi Susie, welcome to the forum. I believe in Spain they have magazines coming out regularly with TMX recipes so you are one up on us English speaking countries there. Have you seen our Recipe Review section (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?board=48.0) for all TMX books. We'd love some reviews of any recipes you may have tried from any of the books listed there and look forward to any recipes you may like to contribute to this forum. Enjoy your time on here.

Hi Susie, welcome to the forum. Sounds like you have a great collection of TM cookbooks. :)
-
thank you everyone, look forward to sharing recipies and experience.
I have a couple of friends that now own a thermomix and we have cooking days, once a week, we choose something new each week to try.
last week we made chille con carne, from the travaelling with thermomix cookbook, and the shredded beef taco salad from Tenina.
both were fantastic.

Nice to have friends who have the same interest Susie - what a great idea.

Hi and welcome Susie...

Hi Susie welcome to the forum :)
-
Hi Susie, welcome! I also like to make spanish food as my DH is from Guatemala. Could you please pm me the salmon empanada recipe? Sounds yummo. Thanks.
-
Montoya, there is a Salmon Empanada recipe in the Seafood Bounty recipe book - do you have that one?
-
SusieB, I couldn't find the recipe for Salmon Empanada in Travelling with Thermomix. Is it just me?
-
No unfortunately I don't have many cookbooks yet. Would you mind 'pm ing' me the recipe? Judy may like it too...although she probably has a lot of the books, ey Judydawn????
-
I have almost all the books Montoya (apart from In the Mix) so I can pm you the one from the seafood book. We have very few reviews of recipes from that book so it will be interesting to see a review if you make it.
-
Thanks Judy! Just got it. It does sound like a lot of work...phew!!! I'll definitely write a review if I make it.
Thanks again. :)

Welcome!! That looks delicious! I noticed in your pic that you put your spatula in the TMX handle, why haven't I thought to do that?!
-
Thanks for posting the picture Susie, slightly different to the one in Seafood Bounty but it looks great.
