Title: Hello!
Post by: Loveyourwork on September 03, 2012, 06:47:41 am
Hello!

I have been a long time lurker, and finally found the courage to join! Courage because I am not overly adventurous with my thermie yet, haven't quite built up to converting recipes - I will though!

I have already learnt so much from this forum - its my go to for menu planning every week! I'm looking forward to contributing with some recipe reviews, and one day - some original recipes.

I live on the Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne, and am just getting into using my Thermomix to help us go "sugar free" (no fun I know and very difficult because I LOVE baking!) I have found the Thermomix invaluable for my 2 year old daughter - we love making smoothies and healthy ice cream - in fact anything made in the thermomix she will eat!

Will be lovely to get to know you all and thank you for all the help you have provided so far!

Hello loveyourwork, I too am on the Mornington Pen.  Somerville.  Just come on a have a chat you don't have to wait until you have any recipes.  I'm enjoying a smoothie right now, didn't feel like a coffee and it is so easy to whip one up.  Please join in..

Hi LYW !  A warm welcome to the forum!  It sounds as though you're having a ball with your TMX - don't worry - I've had my TMX for just on a year and only last week had a go at converting a cupcake recipe!  A very simple one - but the result was encouraging ;D ;D

There are some amazing recipes on here - which I think you've already discovered.  Any problem or question you have just speak up and before long there'll be suggestions/answers for you.

All the best - and happy cooking! :D
