Hi.. just wondering whether anyone's encountered the blade not spinning when setting up the Thermomix for the first time.
I've checked and re-checked everything obvious, but without much joy.. just a rather disconcerting high pitched squeal.
Error 37 was displayed.
Any thoughts?
Cheers

give your consultant a call. she will probably know what the code stands for, and will arrange to have it looked at if need be.
-
How did you go with it Thermomonkey? Did you check the troubleshooting page in the manual - page 40. It tells you what to do for that number but hopefully you have spoken to someone already about it.
-
hello and welcome to the forum thermomonkey, any news on Error 37
-
Hi Thermomonkey, welcome to the forum. Gee I hope you get your TM sorted out quickly. :(
Nothing worse than buying something new with a fault.
Did your consultant do a delivery demo? I'm guessing not if you had to set it up for the first time.

Oh Thermomonkey - how distressing for you. Hope all is fixed now.
-
This is not very good at all, is it fixed now?
-
Thanks everyone.. and my apologies for the gap in revisiting.
I'd tried all avenues, including re-reading the manual, but wondered if I'd missed something obvious.
As it turned out, the service team at Thermomix (AU) were absolutely wonderful - a replacement arrived the next day, working and sounding as it should.
Customer was contentedly philosophical at the delay, thank goodness, but relieved to have it replaced.
So 10 out of 10 for the service team!

Good to hear thermomonkey. I've not heard too many complaints about service from HO if a phone call is made. Hopefully you are now cooking up a storm.

Hi Thermomonkey glad to hear you got your machine replaced and OK now. I am curious, aren't the consultants supposed to unpack. And set up for you when they deliver the TMX or was I just lucky to get a consultant that does this?
-
My consultant unpacked my machine and then used it for the demonstration. I was a bit peeved at that because as it was my machine I would have liked the pleasure of unpacking it, and even using it first, even if it was under his direction.
-
yes same for me, mine unpacked and used for demo but I found it quite reassuring that I knew it all worked if she used it first!!

Mine was a gift from DH so I think that is why I would have liked to unpack it myself. I'm a little weird like that. :)
