I bought this book for around $12 a while ago.... And I don't even own a PC - yet!

Deedub, is it the same as this one as apparantly there are a couple of smaller soft backed books available with less recipes.  If it's this one then that's a good price.

Some people were trying everywhere to get one of these but were having difficulty.

Ah no - it's the soft covered one. Actually I think it was $8. Better wait until I actually own a PC before getting this one.

Mmm, wonder why that was Frozzie  ???  Were you putting in an Oz address for it to be delivered to?  If so, I'd suggest emailing this address below; attention:  Bernard and explain the trouble you are having and see what he can do.

No worries Frozzie, plenty of time.  :)

Thanks Kulsha, I got mine from Target too but I know some people had tried at various stores/websites and had been unable to find one in stock.  That's why I emailed this place first to check that they actually had them ready to send out for anyone in that boat.

Yes I like Rachael's book too thermo, glad to see you got some other books you wanted too.  :D

Thanks so much Julie, I'll look at ordering today. I think it's probably me that's been trying to buy this one without success. I tried again on the weekend at all the shops in two different shopping centres near me, plenty of the slow cooker ones in stock but not the bigger pressure cooker one.

:D :D There are a lot of our members that could join that group with you Trudy but I think you would all end up being led astray and buying more books, not being cured of the addiction.

Butter Chicken from AWW PC Book

I agree JulieO this is the best home made recipe I have tried. Just need to sprinkle corriander to serve.

I bought the Cuisinart  Electric PC 6 litre.

Loving it, it currently is making stock from the remains of the chicken I cut up for the butter chicken.

We had the butter chicken last night too and thought it was fantastic.  I made my own garam masala for the first time too, which I think would have made a difference. Tempted to try with chicken thighs next time - the marylands were great but it would be easier to scoff it down with no bones in the way!

Does anybody have both the big hardcover WW book and the smaller paperback one?  I've only got the bigger one, but assume that the smaller one would be mostly duplicate recipes? I love my WW cookbooks, but I think I've got each recipe about 5 times spread across the collection!

Funny you should ask that. I was wondering that myself.

Probably for stock for risottos & the odd curry.

Cooking veggies.

DS loves spag bol, I made in the pc  & it was nice, so yes for that.

We have a lot of bbqs & outside cooking in summer, I have a good alfresco area.

The ice cream maker was used all summer, but hasnt been used for a while. So could be seasonal.

I will use it but probably not like I do now. Will let yu know at the end of summer.

H :)

Berry I've just got the bigger hardcover book and already had the normal A4 size paperback one, all the recipes from the paperback are in the hardcover book. I'm a little disappointed as I don't think there are many additional recipes in the bigger hardcover book, I think it's more that they have given additional instructions for some recipes that go over a number of pages. I haven't compared the two in detail yet so maybe I've missed some recipes.

Thank you Yvette. Now this is one soup, plus some spring lamb soup that I will make in summer using my pc. The more I use it the more I love it. The ham hock & stock cooked in 20 mins :) then 3 mins for the veg & pasta :)

I made the thai green chicken curry from this book.

Superb, but I think the credit goes to the TM paste I made from A taste of Asia.

Have just got back to this thread - thanks Hally that was a lovely thought, if only you lived closer. DH made chicken soup the following day and not sure what happened but it really wasn't very good. I did eat most of it though so I didn't hurt his feelings as he was trying to look after a sick wife and 2 sick kids!
