Title: Reducing size of photos
Post by: Tasty on July 10, 2012, 01:29:58 pm
I have been using photobucket and can't seem to work out how to reduce the photos to a decent size since they've changed it.

So I was thinking of uploading photos straight from the camera. Uni suggested I change the settings to 640 x ?? but my camera doesn't have that option. It's got the following options instead and I don't know which one it is equivalent too.

4:3 14m
4:3 10m
4:3 5m
4:3 3m
4:3 0.3m
3:2 12.5m
16:9 10.5m

All of which means nothing to me. Anybody know?

TIA

Does the M stand for megapixels ? If so then the smaller MP would be smaller photos?

You could always try one in the middle and do a test photo post. Then you will know if you should go larger or smaller. I agree if the m is megapixels that will tell you the quality of the photo.
