A warm welcome to all the new members of the Forum.  I have been absent for a few weeks so haven't been able to say hi to you all.  Glad you joined us and after catching up on my 86 pages of unread posts I look forward to hearing more about you all.

Thanks Cookie,  We had a great time while it lasted.  I was given a lemon cake recipe from a lady in Italy that once I have made it I will post.  Would you believe that when she gave it to me it didn't have any times so I asked her how long I blend it for.  She told me to just beat like Hell!!!!!!
Unfortunately I have been a bit under the weather since getting home.  Haven't been able to do much of anything but this week starting to feel like I have a bit of energy and there is lots waiting for me to do!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Trudes, glad to hear you are coming good and life is returning to normal.  Good luck with catching up on the threads, it is hard to keep up with them on a daily basis these days.  Bet the grand-children were glad to see you both again.  :-*

Hi Judy,
Yes it was nice to be back home and sleeping in our own bed.  The kids had grown heaps while we were away and it was magic to see them.  Erin and Aidan were at the airport to meet us and Courtney came over once we arrived home.  Kayla was a lucky girl as Courtney let her have the day off school to see us.  I'm up on two feet now and walking much better but can't believe how long it's taken.  For awhile there it looked like I would have to have an op but so far he is happy with how things have settled down.  Thank God!!!
