Title: Devil of Cooking Class-Hobart
Post by: desi on June 22, 2012, 05:34:46 am
Hi
You may have seen it in the newsletter. The cooking class is on the 30th of June.
Is anyone from Tassie attending? It would be nice to meet some people from the forum.

Did anyone go to this? I think they might be running it in other states so would be interesting to know if it was worth going to.

I just got back from this class in Canberra. I really enjoyed it, it was great to see the TM in action (well I think there may have been 5 or so in action and I may have counted 9 bowls and blades :o)
Fiona was great, really passionate about the cause and gave us some interesting tips and tricks. I wrote some down, I'll post a few maybe tomorrow.
Overall I thought it was a useful class, and the recipes demonstrated were yummy and Fiona showed some variations to what was in the book which was nice.
My favourite was the ciabiatta bread...I'll definately be making it soon, and the pea soup was delicious too!
-apart from the demonstration, it was great to be with like-minded thermomix nerds like me!

I just love cooking classes where the people are passionate about the TMX. I loved Tenina's class in Albany and learnt so much. Her class and book has inspired me to use my TMX so much more.
