Hello
first post here and it is a query ???
I have recently got my TMX, pulled both bowls (I ordered a 2nd) apart to clean properly last night, when I went to put them together today they are not locking together, or when they do they are not allowing the lid switch to work.
What am I doing wrong?

Hello Fruity, I have moved your question so that you have your own personal introduction thread so that our members can all welcome you to the forum.
Obviously you didn't have a delivery demo as the consultant would have shown you how to fit the lid correctly. It does take some practice. Have you made sure the o-ring seals have clicked into place properly - you should clearly hear 3 clicks. Then hold the lid with the hook section in your right hand and the opposite side of the lid with the lip in your left hand . Make sure the lip of the lid sits on the left hand side of the lip on the TM bowl and you should then be able to twist the lid in a clockwise manner. It sometimes needs another push to lock it into place. Make sure the little side bits that jut out on the lid slide into the cut outs on the casing of the machine. I was hopeless when I first got mine so keep trying and you will get there. If not, call your consultant and she will pop out and make sure you have it down pat.
Welcome to the forum and the TMX experience.

Thank you judydawn, no myself and the other purchaser of a tmx at my demo did not have a delivery demo as the demo lady messed us around a fair bit, lack of communication etc etc.
I have been using it for over a week now and only just pulled the blades off.
I did :o figure out my problem and sorted it out after ensuring the bowl seal was on nice and tight. No problems since.
Thank you for taking the time to reply to my query.

Hi Fruity, welcome to our forum. Glad you have sorted out your lid problem. It's horrible when something doesn't quite go right right at the beginning, but you will be fine now. Enjoy your TMX cooking.

Hi fruity, welcome to the forum.
Here is the best place to get advise because we all love our TM. Its fantastic to have the second bowl, it makes such a difference when you make a couple of things one after the other.
Have fun :)

Welcome to the forum- sounds like your consultant is a bit of a slacker to let you flounder with such a basic problem!!! Shame on them! So glad you sorted it out. I remember when I first received my TM my consultant dropped it off and stayed to help me make the tomato and red lentil soup from the EDC. At first I thought I needed to have a wrestling match with the lid- I just couldn't do it and don't even mention how I couldn't take the blades out and out the bowl together again!
Anyway, glad you've sorted everything out and enjoy all of your wonderful culinary creations from now on ( and don't worry, we have all had stupendous disasters as well).
