Made ricotta, Helenes method.  Seeing how it acts with Lemon Garlic Baked Ricotta. Having visitors for afternoon tea.  No doubt DD will eat what is left over!!

Equally good result. A bit softer, so didn't add the cream. I used Antipasta from a jar and added extra olives. This topping wasn't as good as the bought one from Supermarket. All the ingredients cost about $5.

Stocking up on basics today, the things I need for this week's meal plan. So condensed milk, tomato paste, a few spice blends, lemon curd and homemade ricotta.
Also just pulled Thermobexta's cinnamon crumble cake with the apple variation out of the oven. House smells awesome. Putting on a whole chook for dinner and lunch meat on now and putting my feet up.

KS, the cinnamon crumble cake sounds yummy - is it a recipe from the forum or blog?
