The heat doesn't bother me that much and our house is really quite cool even though it is not air-conditioned.  I don't like humidity. If it is a dry heat I am ok with it. When we lived in Newman it was very hot but mostly dry heat. I would often be outside in the afternoon when it was 40+.

However when we lived Port Hedland it was very humid. I didn't like it very much.

42.5 here today.
Last night the minimum temp was 29. I think that was at 5am when I got up. Was 30 at 6am.
Gross...hate it when it gets this hot.

Port Hedland is one of the most humid places I know. Morawa got very hot 40+ almost every day in summer, but like Narrogin it was dry heat and easy to cope with. The same for Carnamah.
Broome was humid, but no where near as bad as Hedland. Gert and the Robyn's would have some humidity at the moment I should imagine.
It's been 40 here today.

Busy day today with some friends over for lunch - barbecue and a new, delicious Moroccan chickprea salad (I'll put it up on my blog soon).  Then reclining on the sofa to finish my book!

We are still part of Australia down here!!!  ;D
Way hotter than I was used to growing up - don't think it ever got over about 25 in the part of NZ I lived in!!!

Whereabouts did you live?  We are usually not that warm (22-24 is HOT), but Xmas/Boxing day were over 30!! For us that's ridiculous.
Maybe it's just all relative, or is the humidity different???  When we holidayed in Aus (Qld) in February we were up to about 34 and it didn't really feel that bad, but with the 30degree heat here I was struggling!

Today I've been our shopping for clothes with my sister, and we've been clearing up the house after last night's festivities.  They've headed home now, so a quiet afternoon....before it all starts again tomorrow.  DH has invited people around for New Year's Eve!  :-)) Thanks for the warning, DH.

I agree Jo. When I am in NZ 20 feels like our 25 or 26 here in WA.
Same when I was in Scotland 20+ felt warm enough to go on the beach.
My friend comes here from UK usually once a year and she says the same.
Wonder if anyone knows why ??? Must be something to do with humidity I think .

Washed the floors, dusted, washed a couple of windows that were covered in GS's hand prints and swept the paths.  We have people coming to look at the house in the morning.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
