The quilt is gorgeous, I used to do a lot of patchwork but you get to the stage when you think what am I going to do with these quilts, the grand kids all got them when they were young, I hate to,think where they are now, the DD  and DIL aren't sewers so they, have no idea the amount of time and effort I put into those quilts.  :-[.

AB, I am not a sewer but my mum is a quilter and knitter.  She has made a few quilts and knitted rugs for my boys and I am well aware of how much time (and love) she has put into them.  The boys adore them, many have been loved so much they need to be returned for repairs.  I am sure in a few decades when my boys leave home I will be sending their favourite quilts with them!

The quilt is beautiful.

Just noticed an ad in the papers of a copycat TMX being launched early next year by Tefal. They want people to register their interest from now on!

Thanks for the lovely comments on the quilt. I feel it really makes our caravan home.
I will take heaps of quilts photos later this morning. When it stops raining  :'( :'( it feels  like it is going to last for ever.

Love sparky the bug and the quilt cookie. The lap blanket is a good idea too.

Your quilt is gorgeous; I love doing patchwork and give away lots of things I make. Look forward to more pictures. It has been raining all day here and I have spoken to GD in Busselton today so know that you are also putting up with the rain.

Went to Queen Vic market & Costco (first time ever) on Tuesday.

At the market I picked up a smoked eel (haven't had one in ages!), a beautiful gooey French Brie, sage cheese & a cranberry cheese and a smoked applewood cheese....all cheeses were divine, and will make sure I buy lots more next time & vac seal them!

Picked up an electric blue Caroline Morgan frill jacket, & a couple of floaty summer tops

Junior scored roller sneakers...which was a dumb purchase I now realise in hindsight (we have floorboards)

And DD scored more genie pants she loves, a jumper & bag.

Costco was interesting, and I found you just buy because its cheap, and its novel to see insuch large quantities.

......and for those who have got to know my love of all things Christmas....this 6ft nutcracker had me torn!!

....I was in love, but fact he was $415 made me re-think....but gosh, he would look just gorgeous on my verandah  :P
.........EAT CAKE!

Maddy.... You're a shopping genius!! Still wouldn't surprise me if that handsome gentleman somehow turned up on your verandah ;D  Can just imagine your Dh returning home late one night after a few Christmas rounds with the boys to be personally greeted by same ..... ;)

Gosh Maddy we have missed your shopping. I am breathless.

I would love a Costco or an Aldi. I see you  bought some American goodies. I am afraid you will be sorely disappointed in the Monteray Jack chees after the french  cheeses! Love all of those.

Maddy, I think had the nutcracker been in a different shade...perhaps a mint green/candy floss pink, it would have been a competely different story...

I love your purchases Maddy. Especially the liquorice and Reece's chocolates. I didn't notice if they were peanut butter cups or not.

Nice to see you out shopping again maddy although I'm sure you hadn't stopped, you just hadn't posted your purchases.
