Tonight was lemony chicken pasta (will type up later  ;))

Zan.....would you pretty please type up your yorkshire pud conversion?  I'm led to believe their quite finicky, but yours look like they turned out perfectly!

I love the look of this Maddy.  I tried to find where you'd typed it up, but I think that perhaps you haven't got to it yet.  Please will you let me know where to look when you've done it.  This is one I definitely want to try.  :-*
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

:-[  Sorry Caroline......haven't typed it up.....now I need to find where I jotted the recipe down  ???.......purely blonde sometimes I am  :P

After a mini holiday to Port Fairy, I'm back in the kitchen.
So because I left labelling the school books, ironing uniforms to the day before we go back.......I threw some silverside in the slow cooker, and having with horseradish sauce, roasties and veg.

Kitchen looks like a bomb site, as I made a double batch of cheese & bacon rolls for the school lunches to freeze (In oven now).......so much for an easy night......now the clean up  :'(
.........EAT CAKE!

No cooking tonight either. Going out-3rd night in a row. Not bad for people who rarely go out. I'm still feeling very full from last night.

ooh Cookie you're living it up! Hope you've had some nice meals.

Tonight I made a Chicken, Spinach and Mushroom curry.

Tired of salads so decided to make a light curry. Was really nice - recipe on blog.

Tonight we had an early tea - Roast Pork & vegies (cheese sauce & gravy thawed out from the freezer) followed by a Lemon Pudding Surprise Cake from the UK Thermomix site - will post that recipe. No need to, I found it in the cake section http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=67.0 although it is more like a pudding so perhaps should also be in desserts.

Tonight I cooked up some meaty homegrown tomatoes in some butter, with red onion, garlic & parsley, then plonked  it onto hot buttered toast.
Kids had nachos.

No Meagan we weren't out with that group. Our next outing is on 20th February to Sandy Beach reserve for breakfast. Ours only got it's new/second hand/repaired motor in it yesterday. Motors have been going in and out of it since before Christmas. At least it keeps him out of mischief.

Chelsea, I'd never had it I don't think other than as calamari.
I don't like much seafood so never really looked at it. I try to do fish for the girls once a fortnight - but as dd1 feels the same as I do (ie pukey at anything fishy, lol) we don't do much. But a friend (Maria, lol) recommended this so it's been on the list for months and finally today was at the shops and thought I'd do it.
Really not fishy at all and can't believe dd1 had 3 servings!
Think the marinade really did it.
I left the marinade remnants in the tmx bowl to flavour the rice too so that was extra lovely. (oh and marinade had coriander too)
