Do consultants advertise?

Hey everyone,

It's been ages since I've posted. No real excuses, just haven't!

I have a question for consultants: Do home consultants for thermomix (and other similar businesses), advertise, make business cards, recipe cards ect?

Just doing some research and wondering if it's worth asking my friends who have friends working as consultants if they need any design services... (I'm saving for a well deserved holiday!)

I know that some of acquaintances here have consultant friends, do you think its worth my while trying to contact them or would it just annoy them? I'd be grateful for any feed back!

I don't know of any TMX consultants that advertise. As for business cards Thermomix HO offer a card printing service. My first cards are/were from vista print. recipe cards are a great idea ;) . I can't speak for other small businesses though.

Sim,  Consultants are only allowed to use the official business cards authorised and organised by head office.

if only official stuff is allowed, why are there so many consultants advertising themselves? i'm not talking about the ones who say they are consultants, but the ones who say "ring/email me for a demonstration". it's nice to know who the consultants are, but are the ones who advertise themselves allowed to do that. not mentioning any names, but there was a consultant who used to frequent this forum who had  a website who did that.
