Thermilover, is it starting to smell like beer? Does it have any bubbles on top?
Bought a new book with gift voucher. Has many mant fab recipes. I have adapted the Caramelised Balsamic, ( posted) and soaked Turkish figs over night in it. Today have cooked Puy  lentils in TMX and am about to pick watercress from garden to add. Then top with feta and walnuts. Will post if I have the balance of flavours right.
Have also made Helenes egg pasta, to freeze.

Ooh Chookie another book for me to look at. I'm still pondering over The Monday Morning Cooking club. (I think that is what it is called) I do like the look of it and I know I would make lots from it. Everytime I look I think of the few kilos I have put on and want to lose. But I am healthy and that is the important thing.

Yesterday I made a loaf of Donna Hay's banana bread, banana muffins for a school share plate and a delicious lemon and lime bar with Strawberry chia jam topping. Tapatalk won't let me insert photo. :( today I've just tried to get some meals under my belt for the week. Singapore noodles, Chow mein and beef Enchiladas. If I have time later I will also make Thai basil and chicken. I also have some duck broth brewing.

Wonderful cooking. Makes me very hungry reading all the posts.
I haven't been able to do much cooking lately and when I have I've needed the boys to help me. They are very proud of their latest efforts, cheese and bacon bread sticks. They both plaited the bread before we drowned it in cheese

The bread looks great Kimmy! -I hope you are ok xx

Chookie, I checked the SD starter yesterday, it smelled ok, no bad smell at least but didnt have any bubbles on top, does that mean it hasnt fermented properly? I am planning to get it inside today, but do you think I need to start over?

Thermilover. Smell is important. If it smells ok keep at it. Don't throw it out. Bubbles are good providing it still smells ok.

Today I have made Cantucci, lunch using up left over Salmon, Egg noodles and veggies , a new recipe using Kefir which I will post. A mini loaf cooked in SC.
