Thanks for the lovely comments on the cake girls :-*
I delivered it early this morning and left it in a tin in my friends porch.I don't think she would have welcomed a call at 7.30am with a muddy dog in tow.
Did you enjoy the Crunchy Grain Free Granola CC?
I love the Crunchy Grain Free Granola Cookie.I've made it umpteenth times now and think it one of Tenina's best recipes,

It was still whole when she took the picture Judy, who 's to say what happened after that. Haha  :D
Lol. It's amazing what frosting can cover!

Lovely cake CC.  I'm in love with that granola too. I find it hard to stop nibbling at it. It just disappears so quickly here.

I have a bunch of DD2's girlfriends staying here and finished making some at 10:30pm last night when I was trying to think of something else to make for them. I think it's a wonderful recipe also, and often post off to my kids. Just off to make cookies tuna macaroni dish so they can take it with them down south.

DD is coming for lunch today so have made a carrot & zucchini quiche, best one I have ever made. ;D

Then decided to make the Cheats Cheesecake, well certainly not my best effort.  After searching for a while I found the cream cheese hiding in the back of the fridge, opened the yoghurt only to discover it was sour cream :-)) found the yoghurt, then discovered I didn't have any lemon curd left so zapped up some strawberries with some sugar and added that.  Now it looks too runny, ok add some gelatine.  Looking good.  In comes DH and he has a taste, turns his nose up, it's too tart.  Too bad I told him you will all eat it and like it.  I'll zap a few more strawberries and sugar and make a sauce to put on top with fresh strawberries.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

It looks lovely Hally. I have made bread this afternoon. I hope to make a batch of Poh's jam tarts this afternoon if I don't run out of time. I have done the pineapple jam part. If they work I will post the recipe.

A couple of things from the new book Cooking for me and you. I love finding quick recipes for which I already have the ingredients in the house.

Stewed apple with walnut crumble topping & Cloudy apple cider jelly.

Won't be trying either tonight, had enough food for today.

We had to evacuate for three days due to fires, and I sorely missed my tmx. Should have taken it with me. But so glad to be using it again today. I made a green smoothie for breakfast. Followed by cocao bliss balls, Anzac biscuits and vegetable stock. Now have to look through recipes for things to make tomorrow, my SIL gave me heaps of pantry items (including lots of rice bubbles and basmati rice).
