From the EDC
Pesto and cashew dip
Raw beetroot salad
Strawberry sauce from frozen strawberries

About do basic Panna cotta ( to go with the strawberry sauce, or is the other way round)

About to make the date balls

Sweet and sour bean salad   (from the Alison Holts recipe)  my Kiwi cousins will know her.. we were brought up with her and her cookbooks, and later her children

Also cut DH's hair,  all before 11am.
Could not have done this without my "Maurice".   and no didn't use the Thermie to do the hiar!

Sour Dough in Small SC.  Judy,  not going to be any quicker.  Doesn't like to be hurried.  Indian Patties,  thought I had better test recipe as wonder and family didn't like them and they fell to bit for someone else.  Recipe ok but needs to be fairly wet when formed to shallow fry.  Will post photo.

Mini SD loaf.  No advantage cooking in SC.  Still took about 6 hours.

Did you knead it then put it into the SC and just let it cook for 6 hours Chookie?

I have some sour dough in the oven at the moment.

Judy , with the SD I let it double in the SC bowl,  when it had doubled I put it in  to bake.  It took 1. 1/2 hours to bake.  If no oven,  then this will work but time wise ,  no advantage.

I cooked up a bit of a storm today, well for me anyway.

I had a green smoothie for breakfast. Then made soup and bread rolls for lunch. They were the bread rolls from edc, and didn't seem to mix well and them didn't rise, but still tasted ok. Soup was potato and bacon from TRTLMT.

Was going to order pizza for dinner but figured it was 7pm and would take over an hour. So decided to look on a tmx blog and ended up making a vegie carbonara within 30mins. Then made coconut caramel custard from quirky Jo.

The most I've made in a day thus far. For a change I don't mind cooking, and have only had Belle (thermbellina) for 1.5 weeks.

You did well TwoBoys and you'll probably find yourself doing a lot more than you thought you would as you become even more confident.

Chookie, that was lovely of you to test the recipe. I think my mixture was a little dry but really it comes down to a bit of a fussy family. I quite liked them and thinking they would be nice in pita bread with lettuce and hummus. My family don't like falafel either so I'm sure it's them and not an indication of the recipe. Hally's family really enjoyed them.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
