Maddy what a truly amazing cake tin.

I made some of the Tang Zong bread last night and cooked it in the Sunbeam oven as a test run for when we go away. It was delicious. Doing a test run of some biscuits today so hopefully they will work. I have this feeling that we won't be doing a lot of baking but it doesn't matter.

It's my sons 11th birthday today, so I was going to whip up the chocolate bimby cake.  I also might whip up the whole orange cake in cupcakes, that way I can freeze them for later :)

It is ma-in-laws birthday tomorrow so we're having her family for lunch. I'm going to make some soup today and her cake today. (new recipe-pistachios and chocolate) and then tomorrow do Baf's chicken and make some of Maddy's bacon and cheese rolls for the soup. Show them what a wonderful machine Termite is. Now to think of a birthday gift.............?

Bread, bread and more bread.  Tang Zhong, interesting!!!  Found the crumb a bit ordinary,  but then we like sour dough.  I really liked the crust.  Quite different, with a light crunch.  Then 2 bread sticks.  One with mult grain and walnuts,  and the other with fennel seeds and sultanas, also multi grain.    Also about to make fish cakes with egg whites and mayo.   Had some in Norway and are trying to replicate.  Will report.

Hally, any choc cake recipe.....I have used bimby's, and Peps just posted a moist choc. cake suitable for it too.
Unfortunately, it can only be purchased from Williams & Sonoma in U.S. (at the time it was purchased), we were lucky enough to get them shipped to a U.S. address, then posted onto here.

Here's the link though:  http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/9379231/
