Oh wow Maddy, they do look great.  My middle ds turns 6 tomorrow and we're having a tea party for him on Saturday - might have to try and make them for the party!

I've not made anything particularly exciting today - some rice and veggies, to go with some chicken, then some chocolate and vanilla pots.  On the plus side, there's only the tmx and the varoma to wash up :)

I'm planning some Persian Power bars a the weekend and some mincemeat - also some cheese choux balls - I don't find choux pastry particularly hard but in the TMX it should be an too easy for words!

Today has been more of Helene's bread and another of Kathryn's yummy cookie recipes. I'm now letting the oven cool so that the house doesn't feel so warm as it's about 360 here at the moment. I'm not sure if DH has checked the air con or not so I won't put it on.

Tonight we had Mini Beef Stroganoff Pies.  I used left-over golzeme dough and lined muffin tray tins, then leftover beef stroganoff, baby spinach and cheese.  Absolutely delicious.

The dough was a bit tricky to get in the moulds, but baked beautifully.  They looked very cute and rustic.  It was crunchy without being dry, and the beef stroganoff pieces were so tender.  Highly recommend it.

Yesterday I made "It's nearly Christmas" cupcakes for a BBQ (using Bimby's chocolate cake)

Parmesan bread

And a cob loaf, which I filled with an artichoke & parmesan dip, and heated up in cob.  Yummy!

I've got a multicoloured, unicorn shaped buttercake in the oven as I type.  Next is a 5 seed loaf, followed by a basic loaf with added linseeds.  Lunch will be steamed tomato filled with egg and cheese and dinner at this stage is chicken and cashews.

I've got DD1 birthday BBQ party tomorrow (hence the unicorn) so I'll have a dip or two to do and the parmesan bread as well as the butter cream icing tomorrow morning.

Different flavoured sorbets and probably some sort of quick pasta for dinner.

OK, today I've so far done chinese steamed buns, Christmas mincemeat grugeres and chicken liver pate.

I've to steam the buns in a minute, then I'm doing chocolate chip scones and sultana scones.  If I get a chance I'll do the pastry for the mince pies ...

I have to say I'm pretty knackered but then I've done most of it with the "help" of a two year old!

No. Tonight DD has some interns come round that she mentors for their first year in the big bad world and Mum and Dad are kicked out so that the interns won't be embarrased. Well that's her excuse anyway. We usually go for  drive and end up at Macca's for coffee and an icecream. Tonight a dear friend is on RDO so we're all going out. Nothing posh sadly.
