Fudge day today, a practise to see whether I should make some on the weekend for my mother in law's birthday, and again for my extended family Christmas gathering coming up.

I used this recipe http://thermobliss.com/thermomix-peppermint-crisp-fudge/ and it was good, but perhaps not as smooth as I might have expected. Really nice though, even my husband liked it.

Busy prepping for my respite boy who is coming this weekend. I made 2 small banana breads (from the chip) put some choc chips in one just to be a little naughty and a Anzac slice and many hidden veges bolognaise.

You have been busy Bedlam. I'm sure all the food will be appreciated.
I haven't done any cooking today either. So sad.

I got up with all good intentions and made some licorice ice cream and then took DH to the Dr for his cold and came home and left all the good intentions outside. Well, I did try and the ice cream will be nice.

I cooked a big batch of Spaghetti Bol early this morning. I did it on the stove, it was way too much for the Thermomix.
Kept some aside for our dinner and gave DD 6 containers full for the GK's. I had 5 y.o GS for the day and took him to the zoo, so I knew I wouldn't feel like cooking when I got home. Just had the energy to make a salad to go with Spag Bol.

Feel inspired by all the great cooking.  Too hot here yesterday to light oven. Had fish cakes and salad for dinner and made a Flummery in TMX.
Today have guest arriving to stay overnight, For dinner, Roast Chicken , roast pots and a warm salad of roast pumpkin and kale. Flummery and mango for dessert.
