I am trying to cook a boiled fruit cake in the Varoma. If it's gooey we will have it with custard for dessert.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I'm hoping to try out my sausage maker that DH bought me for my KA for Christmas :o now to find a good recipe.
Can I give you a little tip?  When you have made the minced mix, before putting in the casings, make a small patty and cook it. You may need to adjust the seasonings.
If you make Pork sausages, they need plenty of fat.
Have fun.
Thermilover, enjoy the attention and get well soon.

Wonderful thanks Chookie. I'll keep that in mind. Haven't got to them yet. Maybe this weekend.

Great work Chookie.  It always gives me a great sense of achievement when I make preserves.

Thanks girls. We had Crepes, ( TMX recipe), with the Crab Apple jelly and cream, for Dinner. It is slightly sharp so goes well on the Crepes.

Nice looking jelly Chookie

I spent the morning cooking and was glad to be back in my kitchen :D

I made a beef casserole, vegetable paella, pumpkin spinach & feta frittata, vegetable soup and a batch of Chookies dilly rolls.  Now I have the camera fixed I can add some photos.
