Thanks for the recommendation CP. I've never made yogurt before and with my vegan lifestyle now I probably won't.

Great cooking Kimmy.

I've been fully vegan since Oct 2014 for the study I'm on. I did start eating eggs again in about March as I could get backyard ones but that source has dried up so no eating eggs. A few days I've eaten cheese etc but am fully vegan again now.

Nice Anzacs Kimmy.

I made this Magic 3 Layer Custard Cake today.  My layers aren't as clear as hers but it tastes really nice and certainly was easy to make. Apart  from beating the egg whites with my hand mixer, I made it in the Thermomix.

It looks sort of an impossible type pie Judy. I love the look of the Anzacs. I made some the other day. We love them so I should make them more frequently. I've only made bread today. It is being baked now (after dinner) as I had another Nanna nap today. It is becoming a habit. I'm still sleeping at night so no need to give them up.  ;D ;D

I'm baking for my nephews 1st birthday tomorrow. I've made all the layers for a rainbow cake to be assembled in the morning, smartie biscuits, and these lovely cupcakes using this recipe http://www.bakeplaysmile.com/chocolate-cupcakes-mm-frosting/. I hollowed them out and filled them with mini m&m's, and then iced over them. It should be a nice surprise when the kids bite into them (or a complete mess  :-))). I'm sitting here now waiting for the roux to finish so I can make creamy frosting in the morning.

Colourful sponges Emmy,  what a lovely Aunt you are to be doing the baking for your nephew's birthday. I hope the little chap enjoys his party today.
