Hi from the US

Hi!
My name is Julie and I live in the US. I discovered the Thermomix while visiting my sister and her Australian husband in Melbourne. Thankfully we can finally get these in the US.
I’ve had so much enjoyment cooking with my ‘cook-a-tron’ as my friends call it, that one of my friend’s just purchased one too!!
Thanks to everyone for their receipts and advice!
Jules

Welcome Jules - your trip down under was really worthwhile and now you can spread the word in your country. I'd really like to see it take off in America.

Thanks all! We Yanks do have a lot to learn!
We don't have consultants in America, but I'm spreading the news as much as I can. As far as voltage....we use 120Vs. The machine is identical, except for the plug- 100% North America wattage. My sister brought her machine back and had to buy a huge converter machine. As for the receipts, we've compared our books and they appear the same (some updates to the book-- as she's had hers for about 2-3 years). I use it a few times a week- and even though it's only me, I 'food share' with some friends. We each make a meal or two and split/share for the week. Saves on money and we get a few different meals.

Hi and welcome
Did you get your machine in the USA? If so, where from/how? I have a friend in Florida that is interested. Can you offer any clues???

Hi!
I just sent you an email- would be happy to discuss with your friend. I ordered it from a Canadian company. It's been a great experience. I've signed up as a consultant. But- either way- am happy to call her anytime to discuss. My details are in the message.
