Oh I love eating crabs but unfortunately so does my 5yo son so I tend to be the cracker-opener and he gets the rewards.

We've just booked a short 3 day trip to Sydney next week to show the kids VIVID. Our rooms will overlook the Opera House so we should have a good view of it.

Yum Cookie. We are currently trying to plan a weeks holiday without kids! I renewed the visa yesterday. Now just have to decide on where to go.

DH and I went fishing yesterday afternoon. We caught some big pink snapper. My largest was round 65cm long and his largest was 75cm long. I took photos with my phone but as my phone is almost dead I can't transfer them until I get home. It is illegal to bring pink snapper to shore until the end of July.

I did take a photo of the Bough Shed from the jetty and also the ocean from the front of the caravan park. This also shows the area where the dolphins come in.

I am picturing you out in the boat cooking it over a primus and eating it; don't know any other way to do it before end of July. What a shame as they are such great fish.

Believe me we have all thought of that troupie. I must admit it is great sport catching them.  My shoulder, back and leg muscles are a bit sore today, as the fish do several runs when you think you have them. Then you need to do the same reeling in all over again.

We got home about 2 this afternoon. Had a good trip. I took some nice photos of some early wild flowers when we stopped for lunch. I'll post them in a couple of days. I'm heading up to Nikki's tomorrow with Katj for a class.
This is what we look like travelling now adays.

Arrived in Harrington. We had  booked a standard king spa room, they mucked up our booking and didn't have any of those rooms left so we were upgraded to a premier king spa room.  ;D very nice too. A beautiful large room with large verandah over looking the river. A bottle of wine and breakfast.

On the funny side, I had a shampoo and  blow dry this morning at the hairdressers in our little row of local shops, probably the nicest my hair has looked in a long time. DH commented several times. Get to our room, I jump in the spa, DH trying to be funny/helpful turned the spa on. The jets weren't covered with water and I got    drowned, he may as well thrown a bucket of water over me. :-))

Will post some photos when tomorrow, just of Harrington of course.

Oh Mich, I hope you were able to have a good laugh about it. How sad to have your beautiful hair cut ruined.
